DESIGN AND EDITING

Alisa's largest undertaking as a designer was as Art Director for the inaugural issue of The Internationalist, an undergraduate research journal started by Ms. Pelaez and other members of the Carolina International Relations Association (seen below). As Art Director, Alisa oversaw every aspect of this journal from conception to production, including creating the style guide to be used for all future publications.

Ms. Pelaez also worked as a staff editor and designer for the Carrboro Commons and Durham VOICE and as an editor for the Divided by the Sea and Undercurrent projects.
